FAQ for IGP231-12, IGP231-120, IGS54-12, IGS54-120 OR AGS

MY IGP231 OR AGS WILL NOT CHANGE COLORS
This unit has to be toggled on and off to change color.  When the unit is first turned on it should be on the color white and you will be able to determined this by looking at the water in the pool. Never look at the LED's themselves.  This unit uses a combination of the red, green and blue to create the different effects (White LED do not exist in the unit).  When trying to change the color, rhythm is a very important factor, especially with this unit.  Turning the unit on and off too fast will cause the unit to remain on the same color.  Turning the unit on and off too slow will cause the unit to remain on white only.  You will need to think of a metronome swing (the thing used to keep time when learning to play a piano).  It is very close to the rhythm of a clock ticking.  Once you have mastered this, the unit will run though the different color changing modes.

MY IGP OR IGS IS FLASHING
If this unit is newly installed and is flashing you will need to measure the distance from the fixture to the power supply.  It should not exceed 75 ft for the 12v units. Twelve volts are required for this unit to function correctly if you have more than one unit on the same power supply this will split the volts resulting in one unit not receiving the correct voltage.
